Day 2, After letting the initial block-in dry, I re-establish some darks, then start to block-in the major local colors. Colors: Cadmium Orange, Cadmium Red, Lamp Black, Flake White and a touch of Liquin to improve drying time. These are under layers on which I intend to paint on later.

Preparing Both Sides of "The Limited Palette, Palette" Use an Enamel Based Spray Paint to paint your palette. There is good range of color selections to match the ground of the painting you are working on. Be patient with your spraying, let each layer dry. Spray on a dry day, not a rainy one, no humidity. I prefer Clayboards for my palette. They provide the ultimate surface for mixing paint, perfectly smooth. They also do not suck the oil out of your paint mixtures like other palettes, keeping your paint mixtures fresher. They also come in a wide range of sizes and are very affordable. Link below.
